The first time I met John in 1986, I feared he may crush my hand in a handshake. He was a big man in stature. I was soon to learn however that he was bigger in heart than anything else. I have lost touch with John since his retirement but often think of the great visits I had with him as an insurance company representative. He was a wonderful man to know and will be sadly missed.
