Madalene W. Trott
Lubec and Machias
Madalene W. Trott, 93, passed away peacefully January 25, 2017 at Marshall Healthcare Facility in Machias, Maine. She was born May 4, 1923 in Lubec, the daughter of Alfred W. and Mary (Ackley) Wilcox . She grew up in Lubec and was a housewife for most of her life. She also had a love for beano at Marshall Healthcare. She was pre-deceased by her husband Kitchnell “Buddy” Trott in 1983 and her son Robert Trott in 2000.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Mable Briggs of VA, her three grandchildren, Dawne Cairney of WA, Andrea Jones of ME, and Peter Trott of ME, many nieces and nephews ; eight great grandchildren ; and two great-great grandchildren. A graveside service at Green Acres Cemetery, Lubec will be announced in the spring. Her family would like to thank the staff of Marshall Healthcare for the excellent care she received there.
