The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Warren Foley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Things we liked to talk about ..

Warren and I liked to talk about the fun times we had over the years with Amateur Radio. How we both liked to use morse code. We talked about morse keys & paddles and time spent chatting over the air.

We all had a really good time at the Field Day Event held at the (FDR) Roosevelt International Park on Campobello Island. This was back in the 1990s. It was an International event and we was given special permission to use the call-sign VE1FDR.

I can only remember some of the operators .. Warren Foley, Wayne Alexander, Mark Fitzgerald, Dave McCurdy, Dawayne Fitzgerald, Paul Thomson, Bernard Ross. There were others, but my memory is failing me.

Warren was super good at both receiving & sending morse code at fast speeds. I think his ear for music had a lot to do with that.

Rest In Peace ..  Warren
