Machias
Mary Elizabeth Fenno, 84 , a longtime resident of Machias, went to be with her Lord on Nov. 10, 2015. Born Sept. 20 . 1931 in Graniteville, SC the daughter of the late Willie and Grace (Duffy) Pearson. Mary married the late Herbert William Fenno in 1954 and the couple moved and lived in Machias. She Loved the Lord, and found great comfort in him . She was a long time faithful member of the Machias Valley Baptist Church . She was always eager to visit people and had a great love for family and friends. She especially took great pride in her children and grandchildren.
Known as Mary, Liz , or Mama, she is survived by her two daughters Mary Darlene (Fenno) Schilling and her husband Gordon Michael of OK , and Judy Ann (Fenno) Olson and her husband Thomas of TX; grandchildren- Timothy Michael Schilling and wife Elizabeth , Jeremiah Michael Schilling , Sarah Grace Byington and husband Jimmy Dean , Joseph Thomas Olson and wife Alexa, Jonathan David Olson and wife Kimi, Rachael Elizabeth Olson , and Joshua Christopher-James Olson ; great-grandchildren – Joel O. Schilling, Lillian Faith Byington , Riley Elizabeth Olson, and Sadie Grace Olson ; a brother William Taft Pearson and wife Rhonda ; many nieces , nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother Willie Tunney, and sisters Helen Pearson , and Brenda Field .
Friends are invited to visit with the family from noon until time of funeral services at 1pm on Thurs. Nov. 12, 2015 at the Machias Valley Baptist Church with Pastor John Sprague officiating. Interment will follow in the Longfellow Cemetery , Machias. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Machias Valley Baptist Church.
