Carole Diane (Perry) Willey , 72 passed peacefully on Oct. 3, 2015 at Eastern Maine Medical Center surrounded by her loving children. She was born November 12, 1942 in Cherryfield the daughter of Hollis and Ruth Strout and Hollis Perry .
She enjoyed spending time reading , drinking her tea , and especially time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters- Jeannie Jamo and husband Steve of Gouldsboro , and Denise Grandy and partner Tom Jones of Meriden ,CT ; sons – Roy Willey , Jeffrey Willey and wife Joan of Cherryfield , and Scott Willey of Steuben ; a sister Marie Leighton of Steuben ; brothers- Linden Perry and wife Andrea of Milbridge , Albion Strout and wife Joy of Lynchburg, VA ; special nieces Ruthy Brooks and Penny Wakefield of Cherryfield ; 12 grandchildren , 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces , nephews , and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a son David Hollis Willey; a granddaughter Angela Marie Whalen , and a sister Mary Elizabeth Brooks .
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring staff at E.M.M.C. Funeral services will be held 1 pm Wednesday Oct. 7, 2015 at the Unionville Church of God . In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions may be made to: Cancer Care of Maine 33 Whiting Hill Road Brewer ,ME 04412. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.mcclurefamilyfuneral.com
