We rolled into the old McPhail homestead late, one wonderful summer vacation night, when my sisters and I were teenagers. It was Mom, Dad and us girls. Patty was married already. I remember Phyllis, so young herself, greeting us, all smiles and a true welcome she gave to us. It was a quick hello and goodbye as Phyllis stayed with Grandma, I think. One of my most fun memories ever, was Phyllis handing us girls, the offical pee pot... "Here's the pee pot!", she said. We all were laughing together and I'll never forget her beautiful face with those rosey cheeks, a glow of country health. I knew I was going to have a very special time with my McPhail family.
