Michael Warren Gatcomb Sr, 63, died November 22, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 17, 1958 in Calais to the late Erwin and Emma (Niles) Gatcomb.
He was a graduate of Washington Academy, and Washington County Community College, where he gained the skills to become an awesome automotive mechanic and worked his entire life at it.
He also enjoyed hunting ,fishing, and camping. He had a great sense of humor, and loved to tease, and make people laugh, especially his wife he called his “Sweetheart” and “Baby”. He will be greatly missed, and remembered as a great husband, father , son, and uncle.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Kimberly Gatcomb ; a daughter Cheryl Jackson and husband Nathan, a son John Gatcomb and the mother to his children and special friend Ashley Anthony; sisters- Sally Jhanson and husband Harley, Sharon Wood and husband Randy ; a brother Robert Gatcomb and wife Mariena ; Grandchildren – special grandson Ryan Gatcomb , Jeremiah Anthony, and Keanna Anthony; nieces and nephews – Kristy Farnsworth, Jaime Wood , Angela Garrison, Harley Jhanson Jr, Tammy Pettegrow, Chad Gatcomb, Denise Wood, and Eric Gatcomb; several great nieces and nephews , several great-great nieces and nephews; special friends - Ritchie Kilton, George Swallow, Richard Merritt, Randy Preston, and Dawn Crocker ; and 2 special pets “Star Rachael” and “Itty-Bitty”.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son Michael Gatcomb Jr; a granddaughter Autumn Jackson; a nephew Jason Wood, and a great nephew Archer Gatcomb.
A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
