Obituary for Bruce E Davis

Bruce Edward Davis, 71, of Lubec, Maine passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones on November 5, 2022 after a long battle with heart disease. Bruce was born on July 9, 1951 to Bernard and Mary (Durgan) Davis in Lubec, Maine.

On February 21, 1976 he married the love of his life, Susan Farmer. Bruce and Susan raised five children: Adam, Mary, Lindsay, Daniel, and Skye and also had nine grandchildren: Jordan, Hannah, Erin, Camryn, Sophia, Decosta, Matthew, Niara, and Noah. He had five siblings: Fern, JoAnne, Wanda, Debbie, and Richard; Bruce was also very close with cousins, in-laws, and all of his nieces and nephews.

Bruce loved hunting and fishing, traveling , and making memories with his family and friends. He was Past Master of Washington Lodge # 37 and Charter Member of Sons of the American Legion Stuart Green Post 65 both of Lubec, Maine, also a member of Anah Temple Shrine of Bangor, Maine.

Bruce was predeceased by both parents, and his sister Fern DiPietro of Portland, Maine. He is survived by his wife Susan; sister, JoAnne and husband Gary Matthews of Campobello Island, N.B.; sister Wanda Reed of Lubec; sister Deborah Fenton of Columbia Falls, Maine; brother Richard and wife Dorinda Davis of Campobello Island, N.B; son Adam and wife Kimberly Davis of Wells, ME; daughter, Mary and husband Robert Bryant of Cutler, ME; daughter Lindsay, and partner Mark Jones of Topsham, ME; son Daniel of Lubec; and daughter Skye and partner Jared Taylor of Cutler, ME; his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and several special friends and relatives.

The family would like to thank CHCS Home Health and Hospice Care for their service to Bruce these past several months.

A Masonic service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Washington Lodge #37 Lubec at 3 p.m.
