Carlton E. Look passed away peacefully on May 20th, 2021 at Down East Community Hospital, where he received great care. He was born on October 24, 1931, the only child of Samuel and Grace (Whitney) Look. Carlton lived all of his life on Look’s Point in Jonesboro, Maine.

His love for his wife and family was evident through his every day living. He also was dedicated to many companies and organizations. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for CF & DW Look, and Champion International Paper Company. He also enjoyed truck driving for Blue Bird Ranch Inc. and J.R. Wood Trucking. Carlton retired in 1995, allowing him the opportunity to return to his passion of lobster fishing each summer, while spending eight winters in Kissimmee, Florida with his loving wife, Lenita where they met many wonderful friends. Along with his work, he served Harwood Lodge #91 as a Master Mason and was a member for 62 years. He was also a loyal member of the Jonesboro Union Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Lenita (Morse) Look; he was “Daddy” to his three daughters, Carlene Harmon and husband Wayne, Gracie Hanscom and husband Grant, and Lori McBrine and husband Joseph. He was “Papa” to six grandchildren, Erin Bither and her husband Jeremy, Vincent Emery and wife Claire, Ryan Harmon and wife Meredith, Lesley Hanscom and partner Colby Bruchs, Jacob Hanscom and partner Paige Sinford, Olivia Kalloch and husband Lucas, and a bonus seventh grandchild, Dustin Emery; five great grand children, Chandler and Deacon Harmon, Aynslee Emery, Haven Kalloch, and Kane Hanscom.
