Margaret M. Olive, 88 passed away April 17, 2021 at home with her family by her side. She was born November 24, 1932 in Bridgeport CT. the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (Kovalik) Maslar.
She worked for many years as the Manager of the university of Bridgeport Credit Union.
Margaret appeared on TV in Buffalo NY, in the early 1960's as Margie Valentine. Singing with the Frank Wojnarowski Orchestra she recorded on the album, "Polka Party". Songs: "Rain Drops", "Trust Me", "I'm in Love", "Please Return" and "Happy Boy", all of which were composed and arranged by her husband Ric Bruno. She enjoyed tennis, winning many trophies, painting, sewing, reading and writing: "NO LENGTH OF TIME CAN DIM THE PAST- TOO MANY MEMORIES HOLD IT FAST- TODAY, TOMORROW AND MY WHOLE LIFE THROUGH-I WILL ALWAYS LOVE AND REMEMBER YOU- THAT THERE IS HOPE IN EACH NEW TOMORROW". She is survived by two sons, Richard Bruno and wife Joyce of Jonesboro, Ronald Bruno and wife Tess of Temple Tx; a sister June Sharron of Spring Hill FL; a brother John Williams of Shelton Ct; eight grandchildren, one great granddaughter and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother Michael and a sister Beverly. Services will be held privately by the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Community Health and Hospice nurses, Shelby and Jane who provided her excellent care.
