Lois B. Thistlewood, 87, left this world on December 13,2020. She was born December 7,1933 to Lewis and Sybil (Fickett) Beal. She was the youngest of five daughters. She married her husband Fabian Thistlewood and spent 54 years of their life together in Jonesport.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband Fabian; a son Randy Thistlewood; an infant great-granddaughter,and four sisters -Marcia Schoppee,Almeda Drisko,Vivian Beal and Gloria Floyd.
She is survived by six children -Obed Beal and wife Susan of Ellsworth,Jeanne Farnsworth and husband Paul, Ernest Thistlewood, Linda Durkee, Steven Thistlewood and wife Kelley all of Jonesport ,and Amy Robinson and husband Arthur of Addison; two former daughters-in -law-Becky and Brenda, and son-in-law Manny.
Lois is a grandmother to 18- Bonnie, Tori, Crystal, Alex, Sandy, Renee, P.J., Jeremy,Jessica, Amber, Jasmine, Cody, Lillian, Ben, Camryn, Madelyn, Maegan, and Adam; great-grandmother to 28, and 1 on the way, 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions there will be a graveside service 11 am Thursday December 17, 2020 at Greenwood cemetery in Jonesport.Arrangements are under the care of McClure Family Funeral Services,Machias. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.mcclurefamilyfuneral.com
