Nard Mason Scoville, 77,passed away peacefully October 14, 2020 at the Machias hospital. He was born November 3, 1942 in Machias the son of the late Irving and Hazel (Flynn) Scoville. He was a hard working man. In his younger days he was a clammer, and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his buddies in Cutler. He served in the National Guard for many years. He was a quiet, soft spoken man who will be best known for his reputation of being an excellent carpenter, a job he did with pride for many years. He built many homes during his career, and at some point worked in just about every home in the area.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Ina (Ramsdell) Scoville ; a sister Dolores Hanson of East Machias; a brother Clark F. Scoville and wife Maddie of Roque Bluffs; a foster grandson Sean Richardson; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother Irving V. Scoville Jr "Peter, and a foster son Davd Flood.

Graveside services will be held 11 am Saturday October 24, 2020 at the Ramsdell Cemetery RT 191 , Whiting.
