Christopher Scott Gosnell

Christopher Scott Gosnell, 50, passed away unexpectedly at the home of a friend in Jonesport, ME on March 31, 2020. He was born in Greenville, PA on January 22, 1970 the son of Edward and Ann Scott (Randle) Gosnell.
Formerly residing in northeast ,Maryland, he made Maine his home January of 2011; he started a grounds and building service, including chimney sweeping. His attention to details and perfection in his work will be sorely missed by his clients. He was a great asset to his church, and was willing to do anything and everything he could to be of service to God and others. He took the words of scripture to heart and believed that when the Scripture says "If you have done unto the least of one of these, you have done it unto me." Living by that theme he was there for all of us for whatever we needed, always offering to do whatever he could. Chris was a talented artist, preferring to work in pencil, airbrushing , and pen and ink. He was a gifted drummer in high school, and was asked to write the cadence for the Solanco marching band. Chris' specialty was the tri-toms. After graduation, he played with several bands in Maryland and Pennsylvania. He was an avid collector of McCoy pottery, but his greatest passion was fishing !
He was predeceased by both sets of grandparents, and by his brother Randle Lee Gosnell in 1988. Following his brother's death, Chris enlisted in the Marines, and received a medical discharge several months later due to vision problems.
He is survived by his parents Ed and Ann Gosnell of Addison, ME ; a son Randle Seth Gosnell of Elkton,MD ; beloved aunt and uncle Ronald and Deborah Gosnell of Greenville, PA and their children Kimberly and Tom, and their families . Chris will also be dearly missed by special friends in Pennsylvania and Maryland, especially a "forever friend" Gregg Howitt.
A private interment was held on Friday March 3, 2020 at the Church Hill Cemetery in Addison. A memorial celebration of life will be held at the Harrington Baptist Church at a later date.
