James B. Norton, 80, of Addison died peacefully on March 25, 2020. James was born July 13, 1939 to Woodrow and Helen (Robbins) Norton. After graduating from Addison High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he retired as Master Sergeant after over 20 years of service.
James is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Ellen (Burns) Norton; his daughter Nicky and her husband Todd; his son Marcus and his wife Amy; his daughter Susan; as well as his grandchildren, whom he adored, Dillan, TJ, Haeden and Grace. He is survived by his sister Nancy and her husband Vern; brother Dickie and his wife Rose Marie; as well as his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Woodrow and Helen, and his brother Philip Norton.
He will always be fondly remembered by his loving family and special friends as well as his in-laws and their children in Rhode Island.
At his request, there will be no funeral services. The family extends a special thank you to the staff at DECH, Marshall Healthcare and McClure Family Funeral Services for the wonderful care they provided for him.
