Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Peabody, 64, died January 31, 2020 at a Machias hospital. He was born June 14, 1955 in Bangor to the late Elmer and Madeline (Larrabee) Peabody.
He graduated from Beals Grammar school and Jonesport-Beals High School . He was an accomplished guitarist and played around eastern and central Maine in the Rubber Band , Ambush , and Gunshy. He worked for many years for Richard Carver at Carver Oil Co. and as a self employed interior painter, and also lettered boats.
He is survived by his partner Janet Bouchard ; 2 step-children Kelly Thistlewood, her husband Steve and their daughters Camryn and Madelyn , all of Jonesport, and Chris Smith , his wife Jennifer, and their son Joey of Crossett,Arkansas ; special cousin Donny Alley and his partner Todd Croteau of Beals; many other cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers Doug and Neal, and his former wife Linda.
Graveside services to be held at a later date at the Sewell Field Cemetery, Beals will be announced by McClure Family Funeral Services, Machias.
