Jessika Guptill, 41 years old, passed on January 27, 2020 after a stoic battle with cancer. She was born August 20, 1978 in Ellsworth, ME the daughter of Lyle and Deborah (Hanscom) Guptill. She was known for her creamery creations handmade on her quaint farm, Olde Sow Farm, in Lubec, Maine. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her 7 children meandering the fields with her cows and sheep teaching her family the tricks of her trade and about the beauty and mysteries of nature. She loved to dance with her children, share her sense of humor, and spend lazy days at the lake. Jessika will be remembered for her sense of adventure, love of all things lemon, little vases of forget-me-nots, and her passion for her children and animals. Jessika is survived by her beautiful children Zoie, Jude, Veda, Ayla, Ida May, Elan and Luca. In her last days, she was loved and celebrated by her parents, Lyle and Debbie Guptill, siblings Erika Netzorg, Monika Guptill and Erik Guptill, Aunt June Ashmore, her best friend, Dante Zanoni, and her extended family. She shared memories of the good times past and dreams for the future of her loved ones.
Services will be held 1pm Friday January 31, 2020 at the West Lubec Methodist Church, followed by a Celebration of her Life at the Lubec American Legion at 2pm.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to a scholarship fund for her children: Jessika Guptill Scholarship C/O Bar Harbor Banking &Trust 68 Washington Street Lubec, ME 04652 or FMI call (207) 733-4931
