William D. Mawhinney, 36, Now in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Will passed peacefully away January 12, 2020. He was born the son of Robert Mawhinney of Jonesboro, and Deborah Cady of Bar Harbor on Valentines Day, 1983. Will grew up with an infectious laugh and a look that could melt the coldest heart. A true people person and dad's weakness.
In addition to his parents he will be sadly missed by his son Oshen Nichols and his mom Amber ; a brother Max Douglas ; step-brothers Carl , and Kris of Bar Harbor, Joe Beal of North Carolina, and Mike Beal of Kenduskeag; Grand PA Donald "Ted" Cady of Rhode Island , and Doug and Susan Douglas of Bar Harbor; a niece Keanna Beal, and nephew Tyler Beal of Brewer; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his Grand Ma's H. Mary McNeil, and Joyce Cady; Grand Pa William H. Mawhinney, and aunt Donna Rosenfield.
Through the years Will made way too many friends to imagine, or list here. He had a few passions, most of all his son Oshen. He liked doing woodworking, and landscaping.
" You're always in our heart beautiful boy- Rest in Peace."
