Obituary for Jean A Alley

Jean Adele Alley

Addison

Adele Alley, 86,passed away at her home September 21, 2019,with her loving family by her side. She was born June 5, 1933 in Beals the daughter of the late Erwart and Mineola (Beal) Lenfestey. She was a graduate of Beals High School. She worked for many years shucking clams and processing salmon. She loved to bake and enjoyed having her family over to eat. She always had a "junk draw" containing goodies, homemade or otherwise. If you left hungry it was your own fault. Mama was a very unselfish woman and devoted wife, making sure to have a meal prepared for Daddy to come home to after working. Most of time she wouldn't eat until they could set down together to enjoy the meal.
She enjoyed going to the horse races. Making hers and Daddys bets, sometimes changing the bets that he wanted. A small disagreement would occur but didn't last long.
