Robert D. Tinker Sr, 83 of Lubec, ME , formerly of Allston, Massachusetts died suddenly on April 14, 2019. He was born April 9, 1936 in Lubec the son of the late Sanford M. and Adelia (Ogilivie) Tinker.
After retiring from Boston University in Boston, MA, he returned to Lubec with his Lovely wife of 59 years Diane by his side. He enjoyed listening to country music while riding the back roads, and stopping to look things over at the boat ramp. He also enjoyed playing horse shoes, playing the spoons, watching NASCAR , and loved his bean & hotdogs with a warm beer.
He is survived by his beloved wife Diane G. (Farmer) Tinker ; daughters- Sherry Murray and Arthur of Whitinsville,MA , Kimberly Kelley and husband Dean of Milford, MA ; sister Barbara Case of Brighton,MA ; brother Errol “Bunky” Tinker of Lubec, ME . He was Beloved “PAPA” to Jacklyn, Chantelle, Mikaela, Bradley, Britney, and great grandchild Chloe; many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In additon to his parents he was predeceased by his son Robert Tinker Jr., 3 brothers- Kenneth , Sanford, and Ronald; and a sister Ana.
