Homer Paul Dennison, 68 passed away on January 30th, 2019 surrounded by family and friends. He was born on July 8th, 1951 to Amos and Beatrice (Denbow) Dennison.
He is survived by his children Stormy Dennison, Tina Anselmo, Matthew Foster, and Betty Slicer; His grandchildren Paige, Denali, Baelynn and Landon; His siblings Gail (Dennison) McFadden, Joyce (Dennison) Skinner, Peter Dennison, Gary Dennison, Ramona (Dennison) McRider, Opal (Dennison) Yost, and Kevin Dennison; As well as many loved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both of his parents, his sister Linda (Dennison) Leighton and his brother Maurice Dennison.
Homer served in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1972 and served in the Vietnam War. He worked as a line technician for Bangor Hydro for many years before he retired. Homer lived a full and happy life. He was passionate about riding motorcycles, growing beautiful flowers, woodworking and strumming the guitar. He was well known for an impressive game of 8 or 9 ball and his amazing sense of humor. He is greatly missed by his family, friends and the countless amount of people he met along the way.
His funeral will be held on May 11th at 1 pm at The New Cemetery in Cutler. With a Celebration of Life following at the Whitneyville Community Building.
