Beatriz Sofia O'Nell

Beatriz Sofia O'Neill, 73, passed away unexpectedly October 21, 2018 at the home of her dear friends Neil and Mariella Persen. She was born in Buenos Aires , Argentina the daughter of the late Jose and Sofia (Gendvilas) Morkunas. She was employed as a phlebotomist in Chicago for many years, before moving to Lubec with her beloved husband Robert O'Neill. After Bob's passing in 2000, she worked in the Lubec fish factories, briefly at McDonalds and Whitney wreaths in Machias, before her health declined. She then moved into the Sunrise apartments in Lubec, making many friends, and in 2015 made her home with the Persens'.
Services will be held 2pm Sunday November 11, 2018 at the Lubec Christian Temple Church.
