Marilyn Louise Schoppee, 73, went to be with her Lord on June 8, 2018 ,surrounded by her loved ones at a Machias healthcare facility. She was born May 31, 1945 in Portland the daughter of the late Walter and Evelyn (Preston) Conlin. She was a graduate of Machias Memorial High School class of 1963. she was a member of the Machias Valley Baptist Church, and was active in its Sunday school and Vacation Bible school programs. She was a volunteer at Down East Community Hospital. She especially loved her family time spent with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter Barbara Richardson and her husband Steven of Marshfield, and a son Jason Schoppee and wife Angela of Holden ; grandchildren – Kate and husband Ben , Allison , Paige , Joshua , Juliana , Alyssa , and Jayden ; a sister Candace Greenwood and her husband Edward of Greene ; a special aunt Mary Preston ; many nieces , nephews, cousins , and several special friends.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by the Love of Her Life, her husband of 42 years Kenny , and an infant daughter Julie.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from noon until time of funeral services at 1pm on Tuesday June 12, 2018 at the Machias Valley Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Longfellow Cemetery, Machias.
