Donna L. Williamson

Donna L. Williamson, 77, passed away peacefully November 30, 2017 at her home. She was born in Machiasport April 11, 1940 the daughter of the late Morna (Foss) and Herbert Wood Sr.
She was a graduate of Washington Academy class of 1958. Along with her husband Bruce, they owned and operated the Margaretta Motel in Machias for over 40 years. She enjoyed her flower gardens, collecting Beanie Babies and Boyd Bears .She loved her time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Bruce A. Williamson ; two daughters Wendy Calor of Northfield , and Vicki Espling of Machiasport ; grandchildren -Aaron Calor and Heidi, Jana , and Aiden Espling; a great-grandchild Peyton Ryan Bagley ; a brother Barry Wood Sr and wife Jolene ; a sister Cheryl Wright and husband Milton ; sisters-in-law Elaine Wood and Ruth Williamson , and a brother-in-law Wayne Williamson ; several nieces , nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a grandson Ryan Calor ; and a brother Herbert Wood Jr.
Memorial services will be held 11 am Saturday December 9, 2017 at the McClure Family Funeral Home 467 Dublin St. Machias will Pastor William Holmes officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the :Alzheimer's Association Maine Chapter, 383 U.S. Route 1, Suite 2C, Scarborough, ME 04074.
