Claire “ Ben “ Noble Joy died unexpectedly, and went to sleep in Jesus on June 16, 2017 at his home in Lubec. He was born in Lubec March 13, 1936 the son of the late Roy and Philena (Ramsdell) Joy.
He Loved his Lord, enjoyed studying his bible , and was a devoted member of the Ridge Baptist Church. He also enjoyed putting puzzles together, and going for rides to the boat ramp with his dog. He was a wonderful husband , father, and friend, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his children -Heidie Roy and husband Gary , Sharon Haschalk and husband John , Rose Farmer and husband Bernie , Chester and wife Sigrid , Wayne and wife Millie , Gaye Heyer, and son-in-law Randy , Jeanine Heyer and husband Robert , Timmy and wife Amy, and John Corey ; a sister Hazel Mallett ; grandchildren – Fonda , Angel , Benji , Bernie Jr , Vickey , Wendy , Lee, Tommy , Adam , Natasha , Erica , Aleasha ,Josh , Meghan ,Michelle , Ryan , Brittany , Carrie , Kayla , and Morgan.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Ruth Kunstmann Moores Joy , his second wife Doris Brown , and a granddaugher Danielle.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1pm until time of Memorial services at 2pm on Wednesday June 21, 2017 at the Ridge Baptist Church in Lubec with Pastor Antonio Muniz officiating.
