The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Pauline Davis can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Andrea Jean and Michael Stowell
Condolence: Our deepest sympathy to all of Polly's children and also to her sister Becky. We always made it a point to visit with Bob and Polly every time we were in Maine and in later years to visit with Polly. Sometimes she would stop on her way home from the Bethel Citizen but always she would honk as she went by. We had so many interesting conversations about the happenings in Bethel. She was a friend of Mike's for about 60 years and a friend of mine for 25. Polly always seemed to find the good in things and people and a conversation with her was uplifting. We always enjoyed seeing the pictures of family gatherings with all the little ones on fcebook. She will be deeply missed by us and many others.

Condolence From: Faye Russell
Condolence: My sympathies to Polly's children and to her sister, Becky. Polly and I had fun working together at the Bethel Citizen for a few years. We shared the typing tasks - well, she told me what to do and I did it! We coordinated everything and worked well together. She would tell me little stories about her life and I went to the house a few times and met Bob, and a couple of her sons. She was certainly an active, busy, social woman. I loved working with her and have missed her these last few years - she will be remembered fondly.
