Obituary for Lucy M. Augenstein (Scoville)
Lubec
Lucy M (Scoville) Augenstein, age 90, passed the morning of March 18 ,2017after a brief illness. She was born December 7, 1926 to Louisa A (Moores) and Frank F Denbow in Lubec, Maine. As many old timers, the sardine factory was a big part of her early years and later she worked at the schools. She was an avid afghan maker and especially loved her many trips to Texas. Lucy was predeceased by sisters Florence and Lois and a brother Richard. She is survived by her sons, Timothy Scoville (Deanna) of Lubec; Stephen Scoville of Galveston, Texas; her often referred to 'third son' Frank Shepherd of Galveston; granddaughters Stephene Scoville (Shawn ), Megan Scoville (Christopher); great grandchildren, Eric, Emily and Hadley; nieces Judy Farmer, Carolyn Archer, Catherine Jones and nephew Richard Cordell; cousin Ruth Shaw; special family members Lori, Randy and Doran Huckins and special friend Tammy Mallock. At her request cremation occurred with no services to follow. Love those around you is the best gift of remembrance.
