Brian David Gay ,57 , passed away in Cherryfield Nov. 5, 2015 . He was born July 27 , 1958 in Machias the son of Lois A. and Clayton Gay Jr .
He graduated Narraguagus High School class of 1976 ; and was a graduate of UMM with a Bachelors degree in business . He was a Christian and had a fond love for his church in Arkansas. He enjoyed sports , especially watching football.
He is survived by two children Karen Petrie and husband Jason of NY , and Matthew Funk of OK ; his mother Lois Gay of Cherryfield ; grandchildren – Tess , Kya , Jasper , and Jude ; brothers – Rusty and wife Lorena of Cherryfield , and Terry and wife Biddy Jo of NV ; a sister Melanie Gay of Cherryfield ; nieces and nephews Jonathan Gay and wife Cindy , Jeremy Gay , Jennifer Stubbs and husband Josh , and Joshua Gay .
He was predeceased by his father Clayton Gay Jr.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11am until time of funeral services at 1pm on Mon. Nov. 9, 2015 at the Faith Bible Fellowship Church in Milbridge with Pastor Ambrose Rolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Milbridge .
