Mildred Anna Vance, 86, passed away Dec. 28, 2013 at a Machias Healthcare facility. She was born in Pembroke Oct. 28, 1927 the daughter of the late Isaac and Almyra (Lakin) Kelley. She lived her entire life in Pembroke. She had worked in her younger years for Sunset Packing Company, and later as a C.N.A at Barnard Nursing home in Calais.
She leaves behind, and will be sadly missed by a daughter Donna Lampron and husband Dennis of FL ; a son Maynard Vance Jr of FL ; four grandchildren – Maynard Vance III of Ellsworth, Sonia Hubbard of Brewer , Mark Lampron of FL, and Stacie Pedigo of NC ; two sisters Mary Cook of Pembroke, and Inez Towers of Swanville; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by three brothers – George,Arthur and Rollie Kelley, and three sisters Beatrice Kinney, Flora Mahar, and Nettie Kilby.
