Christopher McMahon, 45 from Lubec and Machiasport passed away September 19, 2018. Beloved Son of Mary Campbell Albani of Lubec and step father George Albani. Christopher was born March 23rd 1973.
Christopher is survived by his wife and love of his life, Zera and their two beautiful daughters Kira Lynn and Mara Dayle whom he loved with all his heart and soul. His Brother Ian Campbell, whom he loved so much and half Sister Diana McMahon. Christopher also leaves behind his Aunt Janie, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Keith, along with many cousins, friends and loved ones. Many that were family to him, like Jenny and Rebecca Savage.
Christopher joined many of his loved ones in Heaven where he was welcomed with loving arms by his father Dale, his special grandfather Micky McMahon and his special grandmother, Sarah Campbell Farmer, her first grandchild and so many more that have left us way to soon.
Christopher worked and supported his family everyday without any complaints.
From his first job to his recent job working in Machiasport at the salmon pens.
Christopher loved spending time at camp, playing video games, fishing, family gatherings, always making us laugh~ especially when he won the ugly sweater contest a few Christmas’s ago with a turkey hat head on his head along with his mother’s tight sweater on! Christopher always made us laugh, even at the darkest times he made all of us laugh, usually at the times we should NOT be laughing! We will miss him beyond words.
Those that knew Christopher well knew that the greatest blessing in his life was his family. He was so happy and proud to have moved them into their new home just a short time before his diagnosis with Pancreatic Cancer. Celebrating with all of us at their housewarming last Saturday was a day he looked forward to and those that were there saw the pride and appreciation for the gift of a family home, given to him by Donna Wood, who truly believed in him. The day was PERFECT, the suns warmth was wonderful that day. Seeing Christopher ‘s face watching as the kids played, laughed and bounced in the playhouse was priceless. It was a perfect day. A day we all will hold on to and treasure forever. He was surrounded by so many loved ones that day, and he felt our love for him that day and everyday of his life.
Our family would like to invite anyone to celebrate on Sunday at 2 pm with us as we gather at West Quoddy Head State Park Lubec, Maine 04652 and celebrate Christopher’s life.
