Esther (Sprague) Pellon

Esther (Sprague) Pellon , 84, beloved wife , mother, grandmother ,and great grandmother left us on June 8, 2018 at a Machias hospital after an illness. She was born July 19, 1933 in Machias the daughter of the late Earl Edward and Myrtle (Vane) Sprague. Esther attended Machias schools and Husson College. She was very involved with her beloved husband Edward Pellon and their businesses, as well as her own, Esther's Resale Shop for many years until she retired. Esther was a member of Order of Eastern Star #83 in Machias.
Esther is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Edward Pellon; her son Gary Magee and his wife Kathy : her daughter Holly Pellon ; her grandchildren Kristin and Rebecca Lee, and her great granddaughter Liliana; a sister-in-law Gayle Sprague ;as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother Edward Sprague, and a sister Barbara Denbow.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from noon until time of funeral services at 1pm on Thursday June 14, 2018 at the Centre Street Congregational Church , Machias. Interment to follow in the Longfellow Cemetery, Machias , followed by a reception at the Lee Pellon Center,Machias.
