Rashel Genevieve Ellsmore, 85, passed away on March 30, 2018 in Tallahassee. She was surrounded by her loving family. Rashel was born Feb 6th, 1933 to Abe and Pearl Waisman in New York. She graduated from Hunter College, NY and went on to teach K12 in Maine where she lived for many years before moving to Tallahassee. She later received her Masters degree in special education. Rashel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; her son, Stefan; and brother, Warner.
She is survived by her son Joe Rudolfer, grandchildren Dylan, Rianon, Lucy and Michael Rudolfer and great grandchildren Cameron, Bryson and Anastasia. Rashel will be remembered as a kind and beautiful soul that loved her family and friends. She was always so eager to help others, especially those in need. She had a gift for poetry and the written word.
Funeral services will be held at Lifesong Funeral Chapel in Quincy FL, on Wednesday, April 4th . Interment will be at 1 pm Tuesday May 15th at the Eastside Cemetery in Machiasport, Maine. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.mcclurefamilyfuneral.com
