Lubec
Paulyne (Small) McFadden , 93, went to be with her Lord May 8, 2017 . She was born in Lubec May 30, 1923 the daughter of the late Henry B. and Laura B. (Joy) Small. She worked at Ocean View Nursing Home for many years as a dietary supervisor , and was also a Nannie to her great-grandchildren Marissa and Nikolas for eleven years. She was a member of the Christian Temple Church in Lubec, and was an avid Redsox fan.
She is survived by a son Dwight McFadden and partner Leo Coor ; a daughter Mary Ramsdell ; a brother Duane Small ;and a sister Sherrill Guptill ; grandchildren -Wendy Gardonyi and husband George , Stephanie Donahue and husband Dennis and their daughters Amanda and Rachael ,Brian McFadden and daughters Mallory and Meredith , Brett Ramsdell and wife Kelly and their children Marissa and Nikolas , Andrea Marra and husband Peter and their daughters Rebecca and Jennifer, Carl McFadden and wife Jill and their children Jake and Will and Kylie , Sabrina Rinaldi and husband Justin ; many nieces , nephews , and cousins. She will also be missed by a special friend Judy Hanscom .
In addition to her parents , she was predeceased by her husband Myron Sr ; a son Myron Jr ; twin sister Prisella Pennell ; sisters Eloise Small , Barbara Silverman , Natalie Taylor ; two brothers Norman Small ,and Shirley Small.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caretaker Wendy Newman , and also to the staff of Marshall Healthcare and Down East Community Hospital for the wonderful care she received from them.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Christian Temple Church.
Memorial services will be 1 pm Tuesday May 16, 2017 at the Christian Temple Church Lubec. Interment will follow in the Olson Cemetery, Lubec.
