Obituary for Lorraine M. Casey

Lorraine Mary (Wohlleben) Casey
Lubec
Lorraine Mary (Wohlleben) Casey went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 1st, 2017. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, April 30, 1943; the daughter of Roy and Catherine (Stephens) Wohlleben.
After graduating college she moved to Philadelphia where she worked as a Lab Technician and it was during this time she met and married Paul Casey. They started a family spent 20 years in the military and then settled in Lubec in 1984. She worked at the Oceanview Nursing Home as a CNA, the Regional Medical Center as a Lab Tech, and was involved with Lubec Beginning of America and the Lubec Light. In her later years she could be found at the Quik Shop tending the books.
She enjoyed serving her Lord as a devout member of the Christian Temple Church in Lubec and as a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. As we all remember her singing her praises to the Lord either in church or while shopping at the IGA. She enjoyed her time playing video games with her grandchildren, playing card games around a table with family, loved her chocolate, and a good mystery show.  She was fond of reading and enjoyed reading her Bible most of all. She had an amazing quick wit that stayed with her always and could strike up a conversation with anyone she met. She always looked on the brighter side of life and was always willing to help those in need.
She is survived by: Her daughter Mary and her husband Scott Greene, son Stephen and his wife Dawn Marie Casey, daughter Margaret Casey and her partner Timothy Fletcher. She was also blessed with her many grandchildren: Daniel Dickerson Jr, Alisha and Rebecca Greene; Paul, Johnathan, Logan, and Laura Casey. Her sister’s and brother: Kathleen Altobello, Joan Sigafoose and Robert Wohlleben. She was predeceased her parents, her sister Barbara Ann Webb, and her granddaughter Margaret Mary Casey.
