Kevin Scott McCurdy , 53 , passed away unexpectedly December 26, 2016 at his residence. He was born October 1, 1963 the son of Janet L. Berry and Daryl E. McCurdy . He was a graduate of Washington Academy class of 1982 . He worked for many years as a fisherman. He also enjoyed hunting, especially duck hunting, fishing , and trapping . He was a big sports fan, enjoying football, and watching the Patriots play.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Alton and Pauline Berry , and Bernard and Muriel McCurdy.
He is survived by his mother Janet Billings of Bucks Harbor ; his father Daryl “Tim” McCurdy and partner Nancy of Lubec ; a sister Kim Arruda and her children Nicholas and Noah of Pembroke Pines, FL ; and two girls he considered as daughters Kristin and Rebecca ; several aunts , uncles, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service at the Jacksonville Cemetery, East Machias will be announced in the spring.
