Tabitha Lea Archer , 38, lost her courageous battle to breast cancer on Dec. 17, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 30, 1978 the daughter of Dale and Julie (Burns) Archer . She was a graduate of Lubec High School, and in most recent years served as Deputy Clerk for the Town of Whiting. She was active with the Whiting Village School P.T.C. She liked beach combing and collecting beach glass, shopping flea markets , and second hand shops. She especially loved spending time with her girls, and family.
She is survived by her husband Steven C. Pressley II ; her twin daughters Aeva M. Pressley and Sydney M. Pressley ; her parents Dale and Julie ; a brother Mick ; grandmother Helen Burns ;father and mother-in -law Steven and Hope Pressley ; a sister-in-law Shannon and her husband William Feltner Jr ; nieces Hailey Boutin, Olivia Feltner, and nephew William Feltner III ; many aunts , uncles , and cousins.
She was predeceased by her special grandmother “Nana” Bessie Mahar , grandfather Jimmy Mahar , and grandfather Ralph E. Burns.
Memorial services will be held 1 pm Thursday December 22, 2016 at the Whiting Community Center. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a fund established to assist her girls education C/O Machias Savings Bank 3 Center Street Machias , ME 04654.
