Donald C. Dill and Mary R. Dill passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2016 at their home. They will be greatly missed by family and friends . Donald was born August 11, 1931 in Machias the son of Sidney and Sarah (Spencer ) Dill . He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and after he was discharged, he met the love of his life Mary . Mary was born August 28, 1925 in Middletown , Ct the daughter of Frank and Stella (Chinsko ) Sadlowski .They were married January 25, 1957 . Donald went to work as a machinist at a factory in Connecticut , while Mary attended college, became a RN , working at nursing homes helping they elderly .They spent 30 years together in Connecticut , and had four wonderful children .They then moved to Machiasport Maine, where they enjoyed retirement .
In addition to their parents they were predeceased by a son Donald A. Dill . They are survived by their children ; Pamela Johnson and her husband Jeffrey, Gary F. Dill and his fiance Susan Weaver , and Peter P. Dill and his fiance Patricia Weaver ; one grandchild, Max Johnson, who they loved dearly ; several step-grandchildren Samantha Meserve and her husband Joseph , Arthur Rockwell and his fiance Tiffany Levesque , Ashley Smith and her husband Jason , Brandon Weaver , Brent Weaver and his fiance Brittany Finney , and Kaitlin LaPointe who will miss them both a great deal . Graveside services will be held 11 am Thursday May 5, 2016 at the Eastside Cemetery , Machiasport . Condolences and memories may be shared at www.mcclurefamilyfuneral.com
