Obituary for Eric P. Peltier

Eric P. Peltier Sr., 50, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, April 28, 2016.  He was predeceased by his twin brother Joseph W. Peltier and his father, Joseph P. Peltier of Dunsieth, ND.  He is survived by his mother, Judye DuPre of Hartford, CT; His son and fiancé  Eric P. Peltier Jr. and Brittany Dunbar and daughter and son in-law Sunshine and Brian Strout; His grandson, Sullivan Strout; Six brothers, sisters and spouses, Debbi & Jeff Studler, Andrea & Michael Oney, Wade & Barb Peltier, Michelle & Jeff Tracy, Michael Kennedy and Dawn Gregory; Sixteen nieces and nephews. 

   Eric was a loving and caring soul, an avid outdoorsman and an exceptional father and friend.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

   The family will be holding a Celebration of Life Ceremony at the Unionville Church in Steuben, Maine at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2016.  Donations in lieu of flowers and gifts can be sent to the Eric P. Peltier Sr. Funeral Fund at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.
