Anthony “Tony” Scott Pottle , 44, was with his family as he passed peacefully on Sunday evening October 18, 2015 in Machias after a brief illness . He was born July 3, 1971 in Silver Springs, MD.
He enjoyed building , many outdoor activities , and music . He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Stuart Green Post #65 in Lubec. Tony especially liked helping his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving children Katie Lynn , Braden Anthony , and Ashli June ; his parents Richard “Scotty” and Wende ; a sister Melissa ; and many family members and friends.
Tony's family gratefully acknowledges the staff of EMMC and DECH who provided for Tony's comfort . The family especially appreciates the assistance of Melissa Mallock Farren during this difficult time .
A celebration of Tony's life will be held 4 pm Friday Oct. 23rd at the Lubec American Legion.
